We pride ourselves on our Assessment Partnerships and our access to a wide range of online assessment tools.
Some of the more commonly used assessments that Psylutions offers include the following:
Cognitive Abilities
Verbal Critical Reasoning
Verbal critical reasoning tests gauge an individual’s verbal ability, with regard to understanding, analysing, and interpreting the underlying assumptions and arguments present in verbal information. They examine how clearly
an individual tends to communicate with others. (eg ACER AL, VMG4)
Numerical Critical Reasoning
Numerical critical reasoning tests examine an individual’s skill in analysing and interpreting different types of
statistical and numerical data presented in different formats. (eg ACER AQ, NMG4)
Abstract Reasoning
Abstract reasoning tests measure an individual’s problem solving skills and their ability to learn new information.
They measure the extent to which an individual can think logically and innovatively about different abstract problems. They use a sequence of diagrams in which the candidate has to select the next figure in the sequence. (eg (APTS Abstract Reasoning Organisational, DC3.1)
Personality/behavioural preferences
These self-report questionnaires ask people to indicate their behaviour, preferences and attitudes in relation to different aspects of their working life. It can, nevertheless, give important clues to understanding a person’s preferred work style, including those ‘below the line’ assets that are more difficult to measure, such as motivation and attitudes.
For example our Personality/Behavioural Preferences tools include:
- Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ32i and OPQ32r)
- Global Personality Inventory (GPI)
- Saville WAVE
- Hogan Personality Inventory, (HPI) Hogan Development Survey (HDS)
- Team Management Profile (TMP)
- 16PF

It is important to recognise that it is based on a person’s view of how they see their own sales related behaviour.
