Cognitive Abilities

Verbal Critical Reasoning

Verbal critical reasoning tests gauge an individual's verbal ability, with regard to understanding, analysing, and interpreting the underlying assumptions and arguments present in verbal information. They examine how clearly an individual tends to communicate with others.

Numerical Critical Reasoning

Numerical critical reasoning tests examine an individual's skill in analysing and interpreting different types of statistical and numerical data presented in different formats.

Abstract Reasoning

Abstract reasoning tests measure an individual's problem solving skills and their ability to learn new information. They measure the extent to which an individual can think logically and innovatively about different abstract problems. They use a sequence of diagrams in which the candidate has to select the next figure in the sequence.

Psylutions has the capacity to conduct cognitive abilities testing in both supervised settings across Australia and New Zealand , and also in unsupervised settings. Personality/Behavioural Preferences

These self-report questionnaires ask people to indicate their behaviour, preferences and attitudes in relation to different aspects of their working life. It is important to recognise that it is based on a person's view of how they see their own behaviour. It can, nevertheless, give important clues to understanding a person's preferred work style, including those ‘below the line' assets that are more difficult to measure, such as motivation and attitudes.

Such testing can be undertaken in a supervised or unsupervised setting as required. For further information on how Psylutions can tailor a personality assessment and report to suit your organisation, please contact us on (03) 8687 9070 or send an email to info@psylutions.com.au

Sales Call Reluctance

The most popular sales tool Psylutions uses is The Sales Preference Questionnaire (SPQ*GOLD®) which measures individuals on 12 types of call reluctance that have been identified as key to successful sales performance. The SPQ Gold contains a single scale “Brake/Accelerator” score which aggregates the 12 call reluctance types into an overall estimate of total sales call reluctance. This may be used to identify the energy that is being diverted to coping rather than prospecting.

For more information on measuring sales call reluctance, or any other sales related measures, please contact a Psylutions psychologist on (03) 8687 9070 or email us at info@psylutions.com.au
