Talent Management Series: Performance vs Potential Webinar Recording

It's an all too familiar story, the high performing team member gets promoted to a management role based on their record of strong performance, and then they struggle to manage the team effectively. How does this happen? Did you know that most organisations use subjective talent identification processes such as manager nomination of individuals for talent programs, processes that rely on performance rather than potential?

If someone is a high performer, does that necessarily mean they have high potential? View the recorded webinar below where psychologists Prue Laurence and Nicole Russom look at the difference between performance and potential, how you can measure potential, and what are the risks of overlooking this critical, yet often misunderstood component of talent management.
